Back when us old folks were kids, about the only spam we saw was all that junk mail that used to be included with the electric bill in the mailbox. You know, the real mailbox? The one you had to use a weed eater to cut the grass around the base of? Yeah, that thing.

That junk mail was at least useful for starting fires in the fireplace just as long as you didn’t accidentally burn the electric bill. (Yes, we did that once.) Today’s junk mail is absolutely useless. You can’t really use it for anything, and it actually can cost you money from bandwidth and storage.

As the years went by, junk email on the Internet became relentless and in 2003 we got the idea to provide a shared solution to deal with it. We were already building platforms to deal with junk email for large organizations, so we took that expertise to market and Mailborder was born. 

 

What's our secret sauce? 

Keep it Simple - We removed the complex configuration and maintenance from an advanced email processing platform for the customer. Everything that you need to do can be handled in an easy to use web interface. No more searching the Internet for how to this or that. Click a button. Done deal. Nice, eh? Of course, if you want to get down into the weeds a bit more, we have made that possible too.

Keep it Affordable - Advanced email processing platforms are not cheap. What typically happens is that the simpler a vendor makes administering one of these platforms, the more expensive it gets. Then it gets complicated again. Then you have to hire a guy that reads Klingon. By keeping it simple to start with and providing an easy to use web interface that allows multiple organizations to control their own domains, we can offer full-blown enterprise solutions for a fraction of the cost of traditional solutions.
